  12.     WHAT IS BUDGIE UK?

  14.     Budgie UK are the creators on many fine software products for the
  15.     Atari ST/STe. Budgie products are Licenceware: only authorized
  16.     distributors are allowed to sell Budgie UK products. The end user
  17.     is authorized to copy, swap, or give away Budgie UK programs. The
  18.     Licenced Distributors pay a royalty which goes to the authors on a
  19.     quarterly basis.

  21.     WHY LICENCEWARE?

  23.     * Shareware depends on the user being bothered to send a donation...
  24.     * Public Domain offers no reward to the author at all, and is not
  25.       guaranteed...
  26.     * Commercial products can be over-priced, over-hyped and always
  27.       PIRATED...
  28.     * LICENCEWARE is fair, extremely good value, and pirate-free.

  30.     WHO SELLS BUDGIE UK PRODUCTS?

  32.     ST-PLUG has been given the exclusive rights to distribute Budgie
  33.     UK products in North America and has been doing so for the past 3
  34.     years.

  36.     All programs ordered through ST-PLUG are NOT Public Domain. You
  37.     will notice that Budgie UK disks are free to copy, swap, or give
  38.     away.  They are NOT free to upload onto a Bulletin Board or place
  39.     in a Public Domain library. NO charges may be made for a Budgie UK
  40.     disk including the cost of a disk, reproduction time, or mailing
  41.     charges. Only authorized distributors are allowed to distribute
  42.     and charge for a Budgie UK product

  45.  System Requirements:
  46. 512K, Color display, Single-sided disk drive (NOTE: Single-sided drive
  47. owners can access side one of the ST-PLUG disk only.)
  48.  
  49.  Price: $6.00 Canadian or American funds (for next 4 issues). Each
  50. disk contains product descriptions and a few bonus programs.

  53. postage and handling.
